Amazing..

28th October 2006. it was time for The Amazing Race! *hums the theme* Interact Style!! *still humming the theme*. it was fun definitely but it could be better with other team mates. not that im saying my team ain't good enough. we got sixth! and could have done better! we were just unlucky i guess. still.. i could have had more fun than just racing. hanging out with my friends and all.

it started at around 9 this race, first, we started in their school (CHS). we had delicasies! it did not taste very very bad but it was thick and its one of those things that just made you wanna vomit. has to be that secret recipe that humans a have a natural reaction to. puked a bit. lol. then we had to run all the way to the Taman Jaya Park to search for a coloured number ten. WTF?? wasted a lot of time there. we hate LOOKING for things. atleast 3/4 of us had glasses on that caused limited running and movement.

next up was the best part of this race to every-single-one of us. kayak-ing! but b4 that, we had to run to another checkpoint nearby it to play carrom! after getting 5 points in before the time stops, we went kayak-ing. yay! i have to say, it should be nice for couples but sigh, i entered a four-man team. she ain't there! = ( anyway, after that, we had to run all the way back to CHS school for the next task, it was easy, all i had to do was wait for one of my teammates to finish an easy obstacle course. he also proved that CHS scouts didn't really think it through with the gadget.

its time to get out of the area into Taman Bahagia territory. here, we had to gather newspapers from the houses around and carry it to a nearby playground. we met a wonderful lady who offered help. thnx aunty!! from there, we had to go all the way back to Taman Jaya, Amcorp Mall. here, was what they call a detour, we had to choose between two tasks. a) buy sweets, snack etc. that costs exactly RM 4.75 all together or b) find which companies own certain shops in the mall. we took task (b) and all went well. yay!

next up, we had to go back to the Taman Jaya Playground to get our next task. this task was a funny one. we had to suck water with a straw from one place and run to another place and spit water through the straw on to a newspaper so it would fall from a string.lol. i tried it first, lets just say it was like i couldn't piss straight.-haha-my teammates did sum other funny stuff so we all laughed until the newspaper fell off by itself.

the next task lead us to PJ Old Town to search for a secret agent wearing sunglasses. we were jus deciding to split up when one of my teammates saw him. he ran, wow! so much for a SECRET agent, he ran?. so as as my friend started to run, i threw my bag to my other teammates and started chasing after them. as i was gaining on them the secret agent lost his footing n his shoe.lol. we caught him! the task he gave us was to go to another checkpoint where we needed get some fruits and return to that checkpoint.

the next task was to get to the Domino's pizza in Jln Gasing near CHS. we couldn't wait to find out what's next!when we opened the envelope, it said "victory" at the end. it was a run to the finish line we ran as fast as we could, when we reached, we were the first team to arrive! yay! before the rain started! yay yay! we had an hour and a half before the race ended! yay! yay! yay!. we took a rest before we set out again, now our task was to search for food! we went to the nearest "mamak" shop by walking, in the rain. the bad part was, when we came back, evry1 was eating! wtf !?!?! potong stim man.

we waited for the rest to come back to CHS before we started the prize giving, we recieved the Domino's Gold Card BUY 1 GET 1 FREE. yay! oh yea, i shall intro you to my team mates, Aaron Yip Jun Hoe, 10th PJ Troop Senior Chief Patrol Leader, Lai Tzun Kit, 10th PJ Troop Discipline Officer and Low Chee Chung, one of the fastest runners in Selangor. whoo! great team. and me, well my name is Phoon Chi Kit (full stop)

changing of plans..more scheduling( CoSmIc TraIn CrAsh)

argh!!! the freaking hike expedition with the scouters was postponed till further notice..argH!!! darn you haze and raining season! so now it might be on the 18th and 19th of November. District Conference for interact was also postponed, now to the 8th, 9th and 10th of December. that's when i also have my scouts leadership camp. great. even better, i have an athletics camp to Camerons that i might havta join too.

also, since im the OC of troop camp, i need to survey campsites that might be a potential next campsite for the next troop camp. i'll havta do it these holidays as i might not have enough time to do it next year with all the other events going on. interact especially, athletics and also other scouts events.

i need someone to tell me what to do. its pretty hard for me to decide. so pls tell me. someone.

plans and schedules

i'm going hiking next week.whee, can't wait for it! Gunung Irau here i come! hopefully i'll come back in one piece so that i can continue with work, work work work. interact WORK, scouts WORK and athletics WORK outs. though i don't mind having cuts and bruises or even permanent scars so i can show to my friends that i battled a mountain.lol. but maybe a few pics will do enough = P.

there is so much planning to do because camps and conferences are coming. all happening at around the same time!!! and this time, i gotta get it right. i have lots of scheduling which i gotta do right too. but there are so many things bothering me now, some unnecesary ones. sigh. confusing and dizzying times lie right infront of me. let's just hope the hike would just clear my mind a bit so i can finally make my choices.

long day..

yesterday was a long*stretched* day. i had to go down to pj from my house in shah alam to attend a scouts meeting. its my dad's day off but he had a medical appointment early in the morning so i had to follow him out early too, specificly at 0700 hours. he fetched me to SS2 Mc'D's after his appointment to attend the meeting.

the meeting was confusing, very because we talked about 3 major events in one meeting, our first meeting. it took about 3 and a half hours. it was 1130 hours now. we had our lunch and my dad fetched my friends and i to The Curve in Kota Damansara. we were supposed to meet a few of our friends to watch a movie. so we walked and waited and talked about scouts as we were still in the "zone".

suddenly there were change of plans, we had to get to OU, so we decided to walk, on the way there, we saw a bus! we took the bus thinkin that it'll go straight to our destination because it was quite near but instead it took another turn away from OU. the darn bus driver made a stop near Puchong and made a huge u-turn towards OU. wasted 90 cents for the darn bus fare and we could have made it there faster by foot.

anyway, we still got to OU went up to the arcade to meet up with the others, played a few rounds of Time Crisis there then we went for our movie(s). i watched the "pemecah ribut" (stormbreaker), its so sucky, its funny. lol. should have watched WTC instead with the others. we split into two groups to watch different movies.

after the suckily funny show, we went to the arcade again, then, we walked around and stood around waiting for the other batch to come out. when they did, we walked arond and stood around again only this time, it was a bigger group!.

alrite, when it was 1830 hours, its time for sum of us to go back, some of my friends n i had to go back down to pj by bus, while some went back by taxi and the others stayed in OU to "buka puasa". alrite, my gang now consists of andrew, nicholas, samuel and simon. oh yes, there was me. the five of us were the ones who came from SS2 and that was where our next destination was, yes, all the way back there.

the bus ride was weird, i accidentaly knocked and punced a few people while i was getting out of the cramped bus (sorry people!) and we saw this guy scratching his buttocks with his hand in his back pocket (can't blame him, its very hard to get that irritating itch off your backside with thick jeans on, so i guess the pocket was a good way to get to the "action").

the bus reached SS2 at 1900 hours. simon went straight home. now only nicholas, andrew, samuel and i were left. so we went all the way to Mc'd's so that samuel can have his lunch. andrew, nicholas and i was waiting for him to finish his food. gosh was Mc'd's food annoying but samuel could't help but enjoy. keng ming joined us in mc'd's a little later and after samuel went back, andrew, keng ming, nicholas and i went out to hunt for better food in Murni's. had our dinner there, i had to pay for andrew and nicholas because andrew wasted all his money on the arcade and nicholas din't really plan for all the spending to happen.

it was rainning when we were eating, boy was that rain heavy(it nearly caused a flood around my house in shah alam). the time was 2045 hours. we had no choice but to run in the rain back to Mc'd's = ( ...for a briefing on our gang's hike up to Gunung Irau in Cameron's. so, we got all wet thinking we were gonna be late as it was 2101 hours(meeting was supposedly to start at 2100 hours) but only one of our seniors were there when we reached Mc'd's all wet. we used serviettes to dry ourselves.lol. our senior treated us to some warm drinks and FRENCH FRIES (we were on the verge of going crazy when we saw those fries, we couldn't look at them anymore, WE HAD ENOUGH!) but we took it anyway.

the briefing ended at 2210 hours after all the Q's and A's. my parents came to fetch me home. we made our way home after fetching keng ming to Taman Megah. i reached home at approximately 2250 hours. a long day it was.

past, present and future.

well. remember the worries of the possible "cosmic train crash"? it's happening. i was elected to help organise three main events. one for The Interact Club and two others for Scouts and its all happening in the first semester. a very exciting year ahead of me indeed. i have made up my mind to use these holidays to start all these projects, studies and sports to have more room before the start of a new year in school.

just before i was posting this, i saw a documentary of ambers. sap or resin from certain trees that can trap anything in its path down a tree and preserve it for a very long time. yes, 150 million years is a very long time.

hmm. i wonder if i could send a message through time by using ambers. maybe just a simple one, with the year of which the message had been written telling that there was intelligent living beings present at this time. who knows who or wut might find it. an alien that invaded the earth? a super intelligent squid after the next ice age? a robot? or maybe a humanoid, one that has reinhabit this world of wonders after we were extinct? or will it be preserved for so long that a cosmic train crash (clashing of two or more galaxies) or our Sun that constantly builds in mass until it explodes and dies like other stars would destroy it.

who knows wut the future holds? all i can do is follow the flow like a river, no matter which way in turns it will always reach the sea..or a large lake =). the destination is set, its only the path that you go through that makes the difference unless some darned humans set up a dam in between ur path blocking your way.

want too many?

its been boring these two weeks of holidays. i can't believe i haven't been out on outings with my friends except for a futsal game if u can call that an outing. i haven't watch a movie in the cinema, not even a simple pool or a bowling game. i feel like an anti-social dude *lmao*.
so if any of you who reads this post, do something, please. i can't organise nothing cause i'm gonna be a bit busy myself from now on.

and this time frame "from now on" worries me, there is athletics training, interact B.O.D meetings, and scouts(?). all of those activities are keeping me busy and i really hope they don't clash with each other cause that'll be a "cosmic train crash". each have their own importance. that makes me think this will continue through these holidays and continue next year.

seems like im making the same mistake over again these two years. i was involved in too many activities like athletics, scouts and shoving myself into a club's Board of Directors, then, when it was time for PMR, there was lots of catching up to do. i wasted half a semester on activities and missed so many classes and tuition classes too. so my catching up was practically startin from scratch on a few chapters of different subjects. thank heavens PMR wasn't too hard but i still struggled a bit during the preparations which i also started late.

somehow, after the exams, i felt like i was being strangled but without anything around my neck accept my own lil hands. all the wasted time. studying for PMR really slowed me down, studying the same old things, worrying about nothing, there wasn't any room for me to find new things. so am i going back the same route? how am i gonna survive, obstacles will only get bigger and harder to cross

A blog born from boredem.

Well, this blog is basicaly going to be done while im bored. Exactly what's happening now, boredem. PMR is over, pawned all my books, video games bore me now and I'm starting to think too much. Well, i dint have much to do the night after PMR. sitting down and looking for something fun to do while my friends were having 'their fun' . hope they dint do no stupid things.

conflicts happening between old friends. that's really hard to control, one is saying this, one is saying that. wut i think? both of them are wrong in a way i can't blame them for. we are 15 now. this is the time we will change most. and also, its all this that begins or become to base to our future.

what we choose shall be kept to ourselves and others can't really make anything change. it's best to ask yourself in a quiet place, what do i want and always go by your own way regardless of wut others want you to do, take comments in and think about it too. it's not healthy to try being an adult too soon but you will feel that your left out when ur trying to never be one. life is a long race, start slow, you will need more to last it out.

-words of wisdom from my coach ~ when u start early you will definitely finish earlier too.dat's if the race is short-
